Building Permits on the rise in Sacramento County

Finally, building permits are on the rise in Sacramento County.  That's right!! Yah!!  Last month 683 building permits were pulled in the County.  Sacramento was the 2nd highest county in the nation.  Great news.  So don't forget we offer construction financing and construction management.  Let's get building!!!

Housing Prices are going up, up, up

Yah, it is finally here. As a mortgage broker, I am very excited about the new HARP2 program. It is providing financing at an unlimited loan to value. Home Affordable Refinance Program

HARP 2 is a new program rolling out somewhere around March 15 to 17. This program is designed to help homeowners who are upside down on their mortgage. It is designed to get a new, more affordable mortgage. If you have a Fannie or Freddie loan, email or call me to see if you qualify.

The investor guidelines have not been disclosed yet, but it is going to be a very desirable program. Please contact me for details.

Next Housebuilding and Remodeling class is right around the corner. The dates are Saturday and Sunday, January 28 & 29, 2012 at the Crowne Hotel located where the Holiday Inn was on I-80 and Madison. National Building Permits +3% over last month and +7% over last year
West Building Permits +1% over last month and +21% over last year
US New Home Sales -2% from last month and +14% over last year
West New Homes Sales -4% from last month and +32% over last year
Lumber Composite Price +5% over last year **Green Fir Composite is +35% over last year**

As for OBC, we have seen an increase in our real estate activity. I have investors that are taking advantage of this market. The inventory is still out there.
